Lok Sabha elections start on 19 April
The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Schedule from 19 April 2024 and will be conducted till 1 June 2024. After this, the election commission will declare Lok Sabha elections 2024 results on 4 June 2024. Loksabha elections will be conducted in 7 phases. More than 98.6 crore voters will participate
According to the latest data from the Election Commission of India, approximately 98.6 crore voters are registered with the Election Commission of India and have a voter ID card. More than 1.82 crore voters will vote for the first time in this parliamentary election. Overall 49.72 crore male voters are registered with the Government of India and approximately 47.1 crore female voters will vote in this parliamentary election 2024. The number of female voters are continuously increasing in India and will achieve a thousand/ 1000 ratio for male and female voters soon. However, more than 85 lakh senior citizens and 88 crore PWD candidates will get the opportunity to vote from home by following the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.
