The provisional date sheet of upcoming year of 2025 has been prepared by the Maharashtra State Board of secondary and higher secondary education. According to the date sheet of the upcoming examination, candidates have to appear in the examination hall from 11 February 2025 onward and it will go throughout the month of February and March.
Where the 12th class examination will start earlier than the 10th examination in February month and both will complete on same day on 17th March 2025. Candidates who are studying in Maharashtra Board 10th class for the session of 2024-25 and preparing for the board examination in 2025 should mark the 21 February 2025 in the calendar as their examinations will start from it. The examination will be completed in upcoming 26 days and will conclude on 17th March 2025.

The board is conducting 12th class examination one week earlier as compared to the last year.

The authority will prepare examination centres across the state and will conduct board exam of the 10th class and 12th class candidates into two shifts each day. The first shift of the examination will start from 11:00 a.m. and will be conducted till 2:00 p.m.
similarly the second shift will be conducted between 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the scheduled date. Mr Sharad Goswami, the chairman of the state board and the secretary Ms Anuradha Oak told the media about the decision to release date sheet of the 10th class and 12th class board examination 2025 earlier. They said that students will get guidelines to prepare for the examination before the scheduled dates. And it will also reduce number of students who apply for supplementary to increase their examination marks, as they will get full time period to prepare for the exam and will help them to score good marks.
Apart from this they have also informed that the earlier released date sheet will reduce examination stress from the students. Other activities of the Maharashtra 10th class and 12th class board exam 2025, including date of practical examination, pre board examination, other tests will also be released by the board on the official website of Maharashtra State Board in upcoming days so students can also he start to prepare for their practical also.
