Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT 2024
- Nationality : As per the Indian Citizenship Act of 1955, the applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- Age criteria :-
- Flying Branch : Candidates must be between 20 to 24 years old (born between 02/01/2001 to 01/01/2005).
- Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) : Candidates must fall within the age range of 20 to 26 years (born between 02/01/1999 to 01/01/2005)
- Educational Qualification :-
- Ground Duty (Technical – Aeronautical engineering (Electronics)) : Aspiring candidates need to secure a minimum of 60% marks in physics and mathematics at the 10+2 level and hold a degree in graduation/post-graduate in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university.
- Flying Branch & Ground Duty (Non-technical) : Candidates must have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in physics and mathematics at the 10+2 level, along with a three-year graduation degree OR a BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognized University.
Application Fees for AFCAT 2 Exam 2024

AFCAT [2] Merit List 2024
The Indian Air Force shall prepare the AFCAT [2] Merit List 2024 of aspirants who acquire the minimum qualifying marks in the online AFCAT as decided by the IAF. All the qualifying candidates will be called to any one of the Air Force Selection Boards. Those who apply for NCC Special Entry will be called to appear for AFSB testing at the AFSB centers. The AFSB centers are situated at Dehradun (1 AFSB), Mysuru (2 AFSB), Gandhinagar (3 AFSB), Varanasi (4 AFSB) and Guwahati (5 AFSB).
