AP TET 2024 Exam Pattern & Syllabus: The Department of School Education of Andhra Pradesh has released the notification of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test July 2024 (AP TET July 2024). All the candidates in the state who want to become teachers can participate in the Andhra Pradesh teacher eligibility test AP TET 2024 where they have to first fill out the APTET July 2024 Application form which will start from 4th July onward.

AP TET 2024 Exam Notification Released, Application Starts 4 July 2024
APTET Notification 2024 is released by the authority on 2nd July 2024 on the official website. Candidates can now apply for the APTET Exam 2024 from 4th July onward and the last date to apply online for AP TET 2024 Exam is 17 July 2024.
However, candidates can only pay the AP TET application fees till 16 July. After that department of school education will conduct the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test July 2024, and the AP TET July 2024, examination from 5 August to 20 August 2024. As the board will conduct the APTET 2024 Exam online mode so there are different dates and shifts scheduled between 5th August to 20 August 2024.

Download the APTET 2024 Admit Card from 25 July 2024
However, candidates can download the APTET 2024 hall ticket from 25 July 2024. Apart from this candidate will be able to download the initial answer key of the APTET Exam from 10th August 2024 and it will be updated on the AP TET portal as per the examination conducted in different states.
Candidates will get the opportunity to file the objection in AP TET answer key 2024 if applicable till 21 August 2024. After that board will declare the final answer key of APTET July 2024 on 25 August and the APTET July 2024 Result will be declared on 30 August 2024 by SCERT.
APTET July 2024 Exam Pattern
Andhra Pradesh teacher eligibility test AP TET will be conducted online mode where candidates have to mark correct answers on the computer screen. There will be two types of paper including paper 1 and paper 2.
Candidates who want to become primary teachers in the state from class 1 to class 5 have to appear in the paper one examination and another candidate who wants to teach candidates from class 6 onward has to appear in paper 2 of the Andhra Pradesh teacher eligibility test. There will be 150 questions in each paper which will be further divided into 5 sections of 30 questions each.
APTET 2024 New Exam Pattern
Candidates should not be confused with the abbreviations used in the new exam pattern of APTET July 2024 of papers 1 a and b and papers 2 and b. Where paper 1 and paper 1 B are designed for candidates who want to become a normal teacher for primary or upper primary level and paper 1 b and paper 2 b questions are designed for those candidates who want to become special educators.
So special educators will have additional subjects related to special education instead of language 2 in the AP TET 2024 exam. Apart from this child development and pedagogy, language tests, mathematics, science/ EVS, and social science/ social studies subjects will be included in this examination. Candidate will get a total of 150 minutes to solve 150 questions.
Marking scheme in APTET July 2024
SCERT Andhra Pradesh will follow a simple marking scheme in the Andhra Pradesh teacher eligibility test where candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer. There will be no negative marks in this examination. So candidate who leaves the question without a mark or marks a wrong question will get a zero mark. So there are a total of 150 marks in this examination where candidates have to achieve more than the APTET July 2024 cut-off marks.

Download the APTET July Admit Card 2024
Andhra Pradesh teacher eligibility test Admit Card 2024 will be activated on the official website after 25 July 2024. Candidates can follow the following procedure to download AP TET 2024 hall ticket in the smartphone:
- Visit to the official website of department of school education of Andhra Pradesh or you can also click on this link to visit directly
- After that you will reach on the new page where you have to locate the AP TET important link section and search download AP TET July 2024 admit card link
- Now you will be asked to enter your application number and date of birth after that submit the security code
So, the portal will generate your Andhra Pradesh TET Admit Card July 2024 on the screen, and you can download it. It is important to take printout of it as only hard copy of the admit cards are acceptable at the examination Centre.
