CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Requirements
Here we are providing the eligibility requirements for the scholarship:
- All unmarried female students enrolled in Class 11th and 12th at a CBSE-affiliated school with tuition fees of no more than Rs. 2,500/-per month during the academic year and with 70% or higher scores on the CBSE Class X Examination may apply.
- For classes 11th and 12th, the monthly tuition fee must be less than Rs. 3,000.
- The award is also open to the Board’s NRI applicants. The maximum monthly tuition fee for non-resident Indians should be Rs. 6,000.
- The program offers scholarships to students whose gross family or parental income is up to Rs. 8 lakh annually.

How to Apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024-25?
Step 1: Follow the official portal cbse.nic.in.
Step 2: After that, you have to select the “Single girl child scholarship X-2024 REG” link.
Step 3: Next, select the “CBSE Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship application” tab.
Step 4: After that, on the new tab, choose whether the application is new or renewed.
