ASRB ICAR NET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants must be Indian citizens or eligible PIO/OCI holders.
- Minimum age requirement is 21 years as of the specified date that is 01.08.2025 and there is no upper age limit for some applicants but 32 is the maximum for those who are not reserved.
- The candidate must possess a Masters degree (like M.Sc. or M.Tech. or M.V.Sc.) in a field related to agriculture or veterinary science or agricultural engineering or similar areas.
- The degree of the applicant should be from a university or institution that is recognized by the UGC or the ICAR.
- Your Masters degree must be in a subject that is included in the ASRB’s NET subjects. Check the official notification for the complete list of subjects.
- Students those who are there in final year of a Master’s program with exams before the NET exam date can apply before.
- They must submit their Master’s degree or provisional certificate within a specified time after the NET results are announced.

ASRB ICAR NET 2025 Exam
The examination will consist of one paper worth 150 marks
- 150 MCQs are there to be completed in 2 hours. One mark will be awarded for correct answer.
- Candidates must achieve the following minimum qualifying marks to pass NET-2025: Un-reserved (UR) – 75.0 (50%), EWS/OBC – 67.5 (45%), SC/ST/PwBD – 60.0 (40%).
- A penalty of 1/3 mark will be applied for each incorrect answer.
- The exam will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format at specified centers with questions available in both Hindi and English.

How to Apply for ASRB NET 2025?
- The application process consists of several steps. Candidates have to go to the official website i.e. www.asrb.org.in.
- First step involves registration and entering personal information like name, address, and contact number in the ASRB ICAR NET 2025 Application Form.
