Apart from the parliamentary elections in India, some states including Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh will also conduct assembly elections in their state during the common elections. Lok Sabha elections start on 19 April 

The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Schedule from 19 April 2024 and will be conducted till 1 June 2024. After this, the election commission will declare Lok Sabha elections 2024 results on 4 June 2024. Loksabha elections will be conducted in 7 phases. The election commission will manage to conduct lok sabha elections in multiple phases in big States including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal etc. Apart from this other 4 states are also going to conduct their assembly elections during lok sabha election schedule.

The election commission is preparing voting booths for voters in India for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, it is the first time the election commission will provide opportunities to senior citizens who are more than 85 years age and PWD candidates who have more than 40% disability to vote for their respective party from home. More than 98.6 crore voters will participate

According to the latest data from the Election Commission of India, approximately 98.6 crore voters are registered with the Election Commission of India and have a voter ID card. More than 1.82 crore voters will vote for the first time in this parliamentary election. Overall 49.72 crore male voters are registered with the Government of India and approximately 47.1 crore female voters will vote in this parliamentary election 2024. The number of female voters are continuously increasing in India and will achieve a thousand/ 1000 ratio for male and female voters soon. However, more than 85 lakh senior citizens and 88 crore PWD candidates will get the opportunity to vote from home by following the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.
