It is one time registration number which is provided by National scholarship portal to all the registered students and can be used for getting scholarship from this portal. Many students have already submitted the scholarship application form on NSP portal without OTR earlier, Now they also have to complete the OTR registration procedure by using their existing NSP user id and password.
Procedure of NSP OTR registration 2024
If you also want to get scholarship from National scholarship portal, then then follow the following procedure for registration on the portal for OTR. Once you complete the OTR, you can apply for the scholarship scheme once it started by the authority and different departments of Central Government.
- First of all visits to the official website of national scholarship portal or you can click on this link to visit directly https://scholarships.gov.in/
- Now you have to scroll the website and click on the Get Your OTR.
- You will reach on the new page you have to click on the new registration, and you can see instructions to fill the application form for OTR registration 2024.
- Now you have to enter your mobile number and should use the number which is linked with Aadhar card so it will help you for the where you will receive OTP for verification.
- After that you have to provide your basic information such as name of the applicant, Aadhar card number, scholarship details etc to complete the eKYC
- You will again receive OTP on your mobile number which is registered with Aadhar card
Once you provide the OTP your application form will be successfully submitted, and you can click on the finishing so you will get the OTR number on your restart mobile number and will also appear on the screen so you can copy it for login.

NSP OTR Face Authentication
The bottle will ask you to authenticate your face ID using Aadhar card which is very easy but becoming problematic for students. So, if you are also facing the same problem then can use the Aadhar Face RD mobile application in your smartphone where you have to install it from Play Store. After that you have to enter your Aadhar card number and other information in this app.
Now you have to visit on the OTR registration portal where we will receive the unique code, you have to copy the code and paste it in this mobile application. After that you will receive OTP for verification. Once you submit the OTP your face authentication with successfully submitted and you can use OTR for getting scholarship.
