The RRB Group C and D Recruitment 2024 program seeks to recruit 60 candidates for the organization, exclusively through the sports quota.
The application process for RRB Group C and D started on November 15, 2024, and will close on December 14, 2024. To be eligible to apply, candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old as of January 1, 2025. Eligibility for RRB Group C and D Recruitment 2024-25
Level 1: Applicants must complete the 10th grade or an equivalent exam, such as an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) qualification or its equivalent, or have earned a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
level 2 or Level 3: Candidates must have finished the 10+2 educational stage, which is equivalent to the 12th grade, or an exam that is comparable. A board, council, or other organization recognized by the government must award the educational credentials. Candidates may also be eligible if they pass a recognized board’s matriculation exam, complete an Act Apprenticeship, or graduate from a government-approved board, council, or institution with a grade of at least ten.
Level 4 or Level 5: Candidates must have graduated from an officially recognized university or institution in any discipline or passed an equivalent exam. In conclusion, applicants for Levels 4 or 5 should have graduated from a university or other government-recognized institution with a degree or its equivalent in any field. Candidates must have passed the matriculation exam with an Act Apprenticeship, finished the 10th grade from a recognized board, or completed the 12th grade (10+2) or an equivalent exam from a government-recognized board, council, or institution in order to be considered for Level 2 or Level 3. Candidates should have passed for Level 1.

Three different categories are used to group the current job openings. The 21 positions in Group ‘C’ are further separated into Level-2/Level-3 (16 positions) and Level-4/Level-5 (5 positions). Additionally, Group ‘D’ has 39 Level-1 openings in compliance with the 7th Central Pay Commission’s (7th CPC) guidelines.

Selection Procedure
The selection procedure comprises three key elements:
1. Recognized Sports Achievements: Candidates will be evaluated based on established criteria, which will account for 50 marks.
2. Trials: This component involves the assessment of game skills, physical fitness, and the coach’s observations during the trials, contributing 40 marks to the overall score.
3. Educational Qualification: Academic credentials will be taken into account, contributing 10 marks.

How much is the application fees?
The application fee is set at ₹500 for all applicants. However, the SC, ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes categories are required to pay a reduced application fee of ₹250. Payment of the fee must be conducted online via Internet Banking or through Debit or Credit Cards.

(ii) For Athletics (W): In the realm of Athletics, performances that result in medals at the National Inter State Senior Athletics Championships may be considered for recruitment at levels 2/3 (GP Rs. 1900/- or Rs. 2000/-). Additionally, gold medalists in Open National Championships (Senior), Inter State Athletics Championships (Senior), and Asian Championships (Senior) may be eligible for recruitment at levels 5/4 (GP Rs. 2800/- or Rs. 2400/-).
(iii) For Gymnastics (M): Events organized by the Gymnastics Federation of India, under the leadership of Shri Sudhir Mittal since 26/02/2021, will be taken into account. Certificates from the Association of Indian Universities and recognized International Federations for sports achievements will also be accepted.
(iv) For Hockey (M): (a) Hockey India is the officially recognized National Sports Federation, and only certificates issued by Hockey India will be considered for recruitment for positions with Grade Pay of 1,900 or 2,000 within the Pay Band of 5,200-20,200; (b) Participation in international tournaments involving four or more nations may also be recognized; (c) Achieving semi-finalist status in Senior National competitions will be considered.
