Students who are pursuing any technical diploma from ITI or any other Technical Institution in different trades are invited by the railway recruitment cell of Northern Railway to participate in the apprenticeship which is contacted through ways employment cum training scheme where candidates get a monthly salary and other benefits. Mechanical DSL, Electrician, Fitter, carpenter, Welder, painter, Trimmer, mechanist, Machinist, etc. Can apply according to the vacant seats for specific trades. A total of 4096 apprentice positions are available across various divisions, units, and workshops under RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024. This apprenticeship program provides a significant opportunity for candidates to gain hands-on experience in railway-related trades, albeit it does not guarantee future employment within the Indian Railways upon the completion of training.

RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

• Only Indian citizens from Northern region can apply.
• Applicant should have completed the 10th class and after that completed 2 year diploma in ITI from any recognized Institute with NCVT/ SCVT. 
• The age of the applicant should be between 15 years to 24 years and the time of applying online while the age will be calculated according to the 11th January 2024.
• SC ST, OBC, and PWD candidates will get Age relaxation from 10 years to 3 years accordingly.
• You have to pay 100 rupees online fees payment at the time of applying online. Candidates who did not belong to the SC ST category/ PWD and women can only pay the fees
• Applicants should be medically fit according to the specific post to which they are applying.

RRC Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Apply Online

The Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 online application procedure has been started from 16 August, 2024.

Candidates cannot apply from any other mode and you do not need to send a photocopy of your application form through the post office. For the procedure to apply online:-

• Now you will be redirected on the registration page where you have to provide the information of your mobile number, personal details such as name, parents name, contact information. 

• Now you can log on to the website and Fill out the RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 application form by entering your personal details and Education information.
• After that upload your photograph and signature with a thumb impression.

RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 Selection procedure

The board will not conduct any examination to recruit these apprentices. The selection of the applicants will be done through the merit list which will be prepared according to the marks in the 10th class and ITI diploma. Candidate should have at least 50% marks in the 10th class to participate in this apprenticeship.

After calculating the average marks in ITI and 10th class department will also scan the date of birth and year of passing of the 10th class to prepare the merit list of the selected candidates.
