SSC GD 2025 Exam Date Out: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of India has conducted the SSC GD exam 2025 to select candidates for the General Duty Constable positions in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF, and NCB. The SSC GD 2025 Notification was released by the Commission in order to fill the positions of 39481 General Duty Constables in Indian Para Militry forces. Those Applicants who have applied fro SSC GD 2025 Exam, their computer-based test will be held from 4th to 25th February 2025.

SSC GD Notification 2025

The SSC GD notification 2025 was published on 5 September, 2024. The SSC GD Notification 2025 was earlier scheduled to be published on 27 August, 2024. The SSC GD 2025 application form was started from September 5, 2024, onwards on the official website- ssc.gov.in and the last date to fill the application form was October 14th, 2024.

SSC GD Admit Card 2025

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) are going to conduct SSC GD 2025 Exam from 4th to 25th February 2025 for which SSC GD Admit Card 2025 will be released region-wise on their respective regional websites of the SSC. The SSC GD Admit card 2025 will be released separately for all 9 regions. It is expected that the SSC GD Admit Card 2025 will be released around 7-10 days before the Exam. The SSC GD 2025 Computer Based Exam will be conducted for Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.

Steps to download SSC GD 2025 Admit Card

• First you have to click On the region-wise SSC GD Admit card 2025 download links which will be updated when released or visit the official website of SSC i.e. www.ssc.gov.in.
• Then On the homepage of the SSC website, you have to click on the “Admit Card” icon appearing at the top of the page.
• After that a new page with all the regional website links appears.
• Then you have to click on the region you have applied for and the regional website opens up.
• After that click on the notification reading “STATUS / DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD FOR CONSTABLE (GD) IN CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES (CAPFs), SSF, RIFLEMAN (GD) IN ASSAM RIFLES EXAMINATION, 2025 (PAPER-I)”.
• Then you have to enter your Roll No./Registration ID provided to you at the time of registration for the SSC GD Constable exam.
• Now you have to Enter your Date Of Birth/ Password.
• At last Download the SSC GD Admit Card 2025 that appears on the screen and keep a copy for future reference.

SSC GD Constable 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria will be mentioned in the The SSC GD Notification 2025. As such, the SSC eligibility criteria based on Nationality, Age and Educational qualifications. How to Apply for SSC GD Constable 2025

The SSC GD Constable 2025 Online Application Process consists of 2 parts

1- One Time Registration
2- Filling out the online application

• Part- I One-Time Registration
  First you have toVisit the official website www.ssc.gov.in or you can directly click on the link mentioned above and you will be redirected to the SSC official site directly.
• Then A new page will open on the screen, click on the “Register Now” link.
• Then Begin with your one-time registration process and you have to fill in all the basic details, education qualification, and declaration form.

• Part II Online Application Form
  First you have to Click on the “Login” link and use your registration ID to log in, and go to “Apply Now” in the ‘Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2025’ section under ‘Latest Notifications’ tab.
• Then you have Upload your recent photograph and signature in the appropriate dimensions
• Once the asked details are filled, preview your application form.
• Then in the next step you have to pay the SSC GD Exam fee. You can pay the fee in both online and offline modes.
• You can Pay your fee through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking/E-Challan whatever is available to you.
• At last Click on submit and your form will be submitted successfully.
• The SSC GD 2025 Apply Online process is completed. Take out 2-3 printout of your application form for further use.

SSC GD Exam Pattern 2025:

Details regarding the SSC GD Exam Pattern 2025 wil also release in the The SSC GD Notification 2025. The SSC GD exam 2025 is conducted in three stages, the Computer Based Test (CBT), the Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Medical Examination. The SSC GD Constable 2025 Computer Based Test are Divided into 4 parts, namely, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi.

Only 80 questions will be asked

THE SSC GD constable examination was based on 100 questions on multiple answer type earlier, but now according to the revised schedule and pattern of the examination, there will only be 80 questions in the question paper. So students are getting relaxed from the board as the number of questions has been reduced. There are a total of 4 sections in the SSC GD recruitment examination including the language of Hindi or English, Mathematics, reasoning, and general knowledge.

Each section carried 25 marks in the previous pattern but now they will only 20 questions in every section. So it will help students to study more specifically for preparing for SSC GD constable recruitment 2025. As mentioned the board has also increased the marking scheme from 1 mark for each correct answer to 2 mark. So now there will total of 160 marks in the SSC GD recruitment examination and candidates have to score good marks to achieve their rank in the merit list.

Only 60 minutes will be provided

Candidates got 90 minutes to complete 100 questions in the previous pattern of the SSC GD recruitment examination now they will get only 60 minutes to complete 80 questions which may increase the pressure on the students. However, it is also important that the number of questions and the number of minutes are reduced by the SSC in the new pattern of SSC GD recruitment.

New syllabus of SSC GD recruitment examination 2025

As mentioned there will 4 sections in the examination English or Hindi ( only one language which will be opted by the student at the time of applying online), Mathematics, reasoning, and general awareness.

• Mathematics: Number systems, fractions, decimals, Arithmetic applications, Ratio, Profit loss, percentages, etc will be covered in the mathematical section
• Reasoning: Verbal and nonverbal communication, blood relations, mathematical operation, analysis, coding-decoding, calendar, etc are asked in the reasoning section
• General knowledge will cover the topics of history, political science, geography, Contemporary situation in the world, Relationship of India with other countries, awards, author names, etc are asked in general knowledge.
• The language section will cover questions of language comprehension including synonyms, antonyms, word meanings,  grammar, etc of Hindi or English.
