Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2024
- Only Indian citizens and residents of Tamil Nadu State who have been living in the state for the last 10 years can apply for this recruitment.
- The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 35 years.
- Candidates belonging to different reserved categories will get age relaxation according to the government norms.
- Candidate must have completed the 10th class from any recognized board in India .
- If you are applying for the post of typist or stenographer, then you should have good typing speed to clear the additional typing examination according to your post.

TNPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern 2024
Candidates will get a Total of 3 hours to complete two papers of TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2024 including part A and part B. All the questions will based on objective type and there will be 100 questions in part a of Tamil language. Part B will also carry 100 questions of general studies, Aptitude, and mental ability tests. Candidates have to achieve more than the passing marks to get marks of 90 to get their name on the merit list. Candidates will get 1.5 marks for every correct answer.
There is a condition for part A if you do not achieve more than 60 marks in part A of the Tamil language then Marks of part B will not evaluated and you will get disqualified. The merit list will prepared according to the marks of both parts including part A and part B.
If you apply for any related post, then you have to appear in the additional examination of your skill including typing test etc. After that department will release final merit list of the candidates who will get employment in Tamil Nadu State under group 4.
