  • Rs.3000/- will be sanctioned as monthly pension in favor of the pensioner enrolled under the scheme.

Benefits to the family upon death of an eligible subscriber :-

  • During the receipt of pension, if an eligible subscriber dies, his spouse shall only be entitled to receive fifty per cent of the pension received by such eligible subscriber, as family pension and such family pension shall be applicable only to the spouse.

Benefits on disable :-

  • If an eligible subscriber has given regular contributions and become permanently disabled due to any cause before attaining his age of 60 years, and is incapable of continuing to contribute under this Scheme, his spouse shall be entitled to continue with the Scheme subsequently by payment of regular contribution as applicable or exit the Scheme by receiving the share of contribution deposited by such subscriber, with interest as actually earned thereon by the Pension Fund or the interest at the savings bank interest rate thereon, whichever is higher.

Eligibility criteria for PMKMY Form 2024

  • Only Indian citizens can apply for the PMKMY Form 2024.
  • The age of the farmer should be between 18 years to 40 years at the time of filling PMKMY Form 2024.
  • The monthly income of the farmer should not be more than 15000 rupees.
  • If any farmer is involved in tax-paying activities then he cannot fill the PMKMY Form 2024.
  • Applicant should not be registered with other pension schemes such as NPS, EPFO, etc.
  • Applicant should have an Aadhar card at the time of filing PMKMY Form 2024 whether online or offline.
  • The applicant should also carry a savings account with an IFSC code and account number from any bank in India.
  • Apart from saving accounts, Jan Dhan’s account can also be used for this scheme.
  • Applicant should have at least two-hectare land for farming.

Offline Steps to Fill PMKMY Form 2024

Eligible farmers can enrollment themselves at the nearest CSC or Common Service Centre.

  • To enroll under this scheme (PMKMY Form 2024), applicants must keep these documents prepared.
    • Savings Bank Account Number with IFSC Code (Check or copy of bank statement or bank passbook).
    • Aadhar card
  • Then, payment of initial contribution quantity in cash will be made to the VLE or Village Level Entrepreneur.
  • A VLE will take into account the applicant’s name, Aadhaar number, and DOB (date of birth) as mentioned on Aadhaar card for authentication purposes.
  • Then, a VLE will complete the PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana online registration by filling up the details like – contact number, email address, bank account details, and husband details (if any).
  • The system will calculate monthly payable contributions automatically as per a subscriber’s age. The applicants will pay the 1st subscription amount in cash to the VLE.
  • Now, an Enrolmentcum Auto Debit mandate form will get printed.
  • Eligible candidates must sign this form.
  • The VLE will scan this form and upload it on the system.

Voluntary Exit from the PMKMY 2024

The beneficiaries are eligible to make voluntary exits from the Pension Fund only after completing at least 5 years of regular contributions. Once the exit is initiated, the LIC is required to return the entire contribution amount made till date along with the interests payable according to the prevailing interest rate.

What is Prime Minister Kisan Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY) ?

It is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme for the farmers for entry of

What will happen if the beneficiary gives wrong declaration to be an eligible

Can a candidates avail advantage under this scheme if he own more than 2 hectares of land ?

No. Any individual farmer owning more than 2 hectares of cultivated land shall not be eligible to get benefits under the scheme.
