SSC GD Constable exam is a national level examination conducted annually for direct recruitment to select eligible candidates for general duty posts in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF. Computer-Based Test (CBT) : CBT is a 1-hour stimulus type test which evaluates the candidates General English/Hindi, General Awareness, Mathematics, and Reasoning.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) : Candidates who qualify the CBT to be scheduled by CAPFs at various centers, will have to go for a PET and PST.

Medical Examination and Document Verification : Candidates who qualify PET/PST will be considered selected for the next stage, namely Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV).
