2024 CTET Exam New Rules: The Central Board of Secondary Education is going to conduct the CTET July 2024 examination on 7th July 2024. CTET exam is scheduled by CBSE for the July session on 7th July 2024 where lakhs of DIET and B.Ed students will appear for CTET paper 1 and paper 2. However, candidates are required to follow all the rules of CTET to appear in the examination hall otherwise they will not be admitted in the examination hall for appearing in the exam. 2024 CTET Exam New Rules

CTET Admit card 2024 is mandatory

Candidates are required to carry CTET admit card 2024 for the July session at the time of getting enter the examination hall. Apart from this seated will declare the admit cards of the successful candidates on the official website in soft copy where you will able to download the PDF of the CTET admit card on your smartphone and device but you are required to print out it as only hard copy of the admit card is acceptable at the examination hall. CTET Hall Ticket 2024 will be released by authority 1 week before the examination so you can check it from 1 July onward.

Carry ID Card [2024 CTET Exam New Rules]

Along with the admit card, candidates are required to carry a government-approved photo ID card in hard copy. It will help you to complete your verification at the center. The candidates should carry the same ID card that they have submitted at the time of submitting the CTET 2024 application form.

However, Aadhar card, PAN card, passport, driving licence etc are acceptable at the examination hall but most of them are considering Aadhar card. However candidates need to update their Aadhar card according to the information available in the admit card of CTET. If you have any mistake in your Aadhar card for correction in spelling of name and date of birth then you should immediately correct it or carry another document where you have similar information according to the CTET Exam Admit Card 2024. It is also important to match your printed photo on the ID card as only recent photographs on ID card will be considered. 

Prohibited items in the CTET examination hall

Candidates are only allowed to carry a hard copy of the CTET Exam 2024 Admit Card and a photo ID card. Along with they have to carry a ball pen to fill the OMR sheet and then also carry a water bottle. If you have smartwatch, smartphone, Bluetooth device, electronic item, purse, carry bag, earrings, keys of the vehicle etc, then you have to submit it at the examination hall where you may be charged extra amount for submitting your items during the examination.

CTET exam new timing 2024

CTET examination for the July session will be conducted in two shift of morning and evening where the morning shift is scheduled for CTET paper 1 where candidates who want to become primary teacher of class 1 to 5 can participate. The first shift will start from 9:00 a.m. morning and will go up to 12:30 p.m.

The second shift will start from 2:00 p.m. and will go up to 4:30 p.m. on the same day at evening. Candidates who want to become a secondary teacher of class 6 to 10th have to appear in the paper 2 of CTET.  So if you are preparing for CTET examination 2024 then you need to check all the new updates and rules for the upcoming examination.
