Himachal Pradesh employee’s holiday restriction circular
The circular for temporary Ban and restriction of holidays and leaves for Government employees in the Himachal Pradesh state was ordered by the Director of Education of Himachal Pradesh Mr Amarjeet Sharma. The circular has ordered all the employees under the department not to get a holiday between 5 February and 29 February while members of parliament are discussing and participating in the budget session of 2024. Apart from the casual leaves, the department can also call employees to present in the department on registered holidays including Sundays. However, employees have not been ordered to present in the department on Sunday but if they are needed by the department then have to visit their respective departments according to the orders. It is also informed to all employees and officers in the department to follow this circular an order is strictly and officers should have the complete information of employees. Apart from this, it is also ordered the Employees to present in the office from 8 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
It is a very hard Duty for employees in the education department to present for 12 hours continuously for the whole month of February. However, only those employees and officers who are placed at Legislative Assembly-related works have to appear in the department for 12 hours from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. However other employees will present their department and workplace according to the regular schedule and timing. But it is also important for officers and directors who are affiliated with any branch of the department to visit the department at 8:30 a.m. and have to present in the department till 8:00 p.m. One officer or head of the institute should appear in the department for 12 hours but other employees will get leisure after completing the office timings.
