Implementation of One Student One Laptop Yojana 2024
AICTE has suggested to all the technical education institutions and colleges in India to provide laptops to those who are enrolled in technical subjects. NGOs and CSCs are already helping in quality education by funding specific institutes for specific subjects. So this institute will contact the NGOs and CSCs to increase funds for their institution so they can purchase a good laptop for the students under the One Student One Laptop Yojana 2024. After that students will get laptops accordingly. All the institutes that distributed laptops to the students under the One Student One Laptop scheme will get a Free Laptop Yojana certificate from AICTE to participate in this initiative.

Eligibility for PM One Student One Laptop Yojana 2024
- All students enrolled in full-time AICTE-approved technical programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels are eligible for the scheme. This includes students pursuing engineering, management, pharmacy, architecture, and other technical disciplines.
- The institution you’re enrolled in must be recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.
- You must be enrolled in the program for the entire duration and not be taking any gap years.
- While the exact income limits may vary depending on the state and institution, the scheme generally targets students from economically weaker backgrounds.
- Some institutions may prioritize students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories or students with disabilities.

- Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Passport (any one)
- Address Proof: Aadhaar Card with address, Voter ID Card, Ration Card, Electricity Bill
- Bank Passbook with address
- Income Certificate: Issued by the competent authority of the state government, Should be recent (issued within the last 6 months) Specify your family’s annual income

One Student One Laptop Scheme Application Process
If you are eligible for this scheme then you can apply to get a free laptop by following this process:
- Firstly contact your administrator or institute principal and discuss such a scheme
- After that, if they are engaged in the (OSOLS) One Student One Laptop Scheme 2024 then will provide the application form. And you have to fill in all the details including personal, educational, financial, caste, etc.
- After that attach photocopies of all the documents with the One Student One Laptop Yojana application form 2024 and submit it to the school authority.
- If your One Student One Laptop Yojana 2024 form gets approved then your name will be selected for the free laptop scheme and will get a laptop soon.
