How to apply for PM Solar Rooftop Scheme 2024?
To avail the Solar Rooftop Scheme, applicants have to follow the following procedure. This process is simple and you will not face any difficulty in completing it.
Registration on National Website:First of all, you have to register yourself by visiting the portal of the national website pmsuryagarh.gov.in.
- Select your state and electricity distribution company.
- Enter your OTP as asked along with your mobile number and email.
Login to Portal:
- Log in to the portal by entering the consumer number and mobile number.
- Click on “Apply for Rooftop Solar”.
Feasibility Approval:
- After applying, you will get feasibility approval immediately.
- After this, you should contact any registered vendor and do the installation of solar panels.
Installation and Plant Details:
- After completing the required information, submit the installation and plant details on the portal.
- Then apply for net meter.
Net Meter and Commissioning Certificate:
- After the net meter is installed, the commissioning certificate will be generated from the portal.
Attach Bank Account:
- After receiving the commissioning certificate, attach your bank account through the portal.
- Within 30 days of submitting the bank account and required documents, the subsidy under this scheme will be made available in your bank account.
