West Central Railway Merit List 2024 : All the interested candidates who want to get government jobs in the Indian Railway have good news because the Indian Railway is recruiting a total of 3015 eligible candidates for West Central Railway in 2024. The Railway Recruitment 2024 application procedure has been started and the last date to apply online was 15th January, 2024. The call letter for document verification of WCR Kota Apprentice was released on 9 February 2024 and the merit list for document verification of WCR HQ Jabalpur has been released. WCR HQ Jabalpur Document Verification is going to happen on 26-02-2024.

The West Central Railway uploaded a recruitment notification on the official website on 14 December 2023 to invite individuals to apply for West Central Railway apprenticeship recruitment for the year 2024. There are a total of 3015 seats for the apprentices in different divisions of WCR. It is not a permanent recruitment of Indian Railway but is designed to provide training to the students who are trained in different skills including Carpenter, computer assistant, welder, Plumber, painter etc. Selected candidates will get a monthly stipend from the West Central Railway during the apprenticeship period. 

West Central Railway Merit List 2024

The West Central Railway (WCR) released the merit list for 2024 on February 9, 2024. The application process for apprentices for the 2023-24 recruitment cycle started on December 15, 2023 and closed on January 14, 2024. The HQ Jabalpur merit list was released on February 16, 2024, and the CRWS Bhopal merit list was released on February 19, 2024.

• First visiting official website of West Central Railway at https://wcr.indianrailways.gov.in/.

• At the home of website go notice and notification section and choose Act Apprentice recruitment 2023-24.
• Download PDF file against “Act Apprentice 2023-24 Merit List” notice and open it to search your name or registration number.

• West Central Railway Merit List 2024 includes name, registration number, DOB, category, marks and date of document verification.
• Take a print out or screenshot of your result for future reference.

To download the call letter, Candidates advertised to visit the official website of WCR and then do login with their Application number and Date of birth. The e-called letter and DV Date will be displayed on your login panel.

Railway WCR Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

• The application should be for Indian citizens only.
• The age of the applicant should be between 15 to 24 years. It was calculated according to the 14/12/2023. Candidates belonging to reserve categories had got Age relaxation from 3 years to 10 years according to the norms
• The minimum education qualification was 10 passes however 12th-class pass candidates had also applied according to the specific field.
• The candidate should have completed a specific diploma in their field from any recognized Institution with NCVT or SCVT.
• The candidates have to pay online fees at the time of applying online of Rs 100. The processing fees will be charged 36 rupees extra. SC/ ST and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the Application fees of Rs 100.

Documentation for WCR Recruitment 2024

• Passport-size photograph of the applicant.
• Signature of the applicant.
• 10th class mark sheet.
• 10th class certificate.
• Category certificate (if applicable).
• ITI certificate or diploma from NCVT/ SCVT.
• Applicant should be medically fit according to the field.

The Railway WCR Recruitment 2024 application form had been filled through online mode by following the procedure :-

• Visit the official website of West Central Railway.
• You can click on this link to visit direct on the official website : https://wcr.indianrailways.gov.in/ 

• After that click on the Railway recruitment cell on the official website.

• Now select the engagement of act apprentices for 2023-24 and click on the helpline link

• After that, you will be redirected to a new page where you have selected the specific trade where you want to apply and fill out the Railway WCR Recruitment 2024 registration form by providing your details including name, Aadhar details, parents’ details, date of birth, email, mobile number, and other information
• Now you can create the user ID and password for login and after that fill out the application form accordingly
• Upload all the documents in the document section.
• Now candidates had to pay the fees through online mode.

Once you paid the fees you had to download the application form on your mobile phone and you also receive the verification message on your mobile.

WCR Bharti 2024 Selection procedure 

The Railway Recruitment Cell had selected the applicants for the apprenticeship of the year 2024 by preparing the merit list. The marks of the 10th class and marks in the ITI diploma had been calculated to prepare the merit list and after that candidates will be called by the department for document verification.

Once you have verified all the details you will get a joining letter from the department and after that, you can join the Indian Railway for the Apprenticeship 2024.
