CBSE changes in Practicals
CBSE board has introduced Practical Examination for board classes of 10th and 12th. However the topic of the practicals and assessment was internal and managed by the School authority, now CBSE has added the syllabus for practical examinations too in the CBSE New Syllabus 2024. So it will provide the guidelines and proper classes for CBSE practical 2024-25 for board classes.
9th to 12th CBSE New Syllabus 2024
CBSE is implementing NCF 2023 guidelines which are prepared by following National Education Policy 2020. Schools are advised by CBSE to Apply recommended methodology in the school and pedagogical practices to teach new topics according to the ncf which is also mentioned in CBSE New Syllabus 2024. The board has listed a total of 5 Compulsory subjects for 10th-class students in the session of 2024 and 25 Including Language 1 and 2, mathematics, Science, and social science.
Apart from this schools will also provide Internal examination facilities for Art education, work education, and physical education. Students can also select any skill-based course and language 3 according to the availability. Students of class 12th will study Language One and Language 2/ Compulsory Academy subjects, a combination of three subjects, And other internal-based subjects of work education/ art education and physical education.

CBSE New Syllabus 2024 for class 3rd to 6th
The board has earlier informed us that they are preparing new textbooks for new textbooks for Class 3 to Class 6 in the academic session of 2024-25. The new textbooks are prepared according to the suggested teaching methodologies and pedagogical techniques in national education policy and NCF 2023. The textbooks for class 1 and 2 are already prepared by NCERT and students are studying it from last year in their schools.
So the students who are currently studying in the 2nd class and will get admission in the 3rd class in this session will get new books and syllabi from NCERT. However, students who have completed the 5th class in this year and wish to get admission to the 6th class will also be introduced to a new textbook for the 6th class. But before starting with the new textbook, NCERT will provide a bridge course for 6th class students for the duration of 1 month which is scheduled between 1 April to 30 April 2024.
