KVS Admission 2025: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will soon start KVS Admission 2025 for 1st Class from April, 2025. Eligible students can participate in the KVS Admission 2025 procedure in KVS before the deadline. Kendriya Vidyalaya will soon released KVS Class 1 Admission official notification 2025 on the website in March, 2025 for KVS Admission 2025 in class 1. The Sangathan will then start an online portal for admission in class 1 where parents can enroll their children. After that eligible students have to appear in the allotted Kendriya Vidyalaya according to the KVS class 1 admission list 2025. After that school authority will prepare the KVS Class 1 merit list of the successful candidates and will release the KVS first class admission 1 provisional list accordingly. Parents have to appear in the school before the given time and confirm their admission, as the second list will be released after that and the third list will lastly. However, the school authority will release 3 lists for students but it will be prepared according to the kvs class 1 vacant seats in different Kendriya Vidyalaya across the country.

KVS Admission 2025 Eligibility

• The parent of the student should be an Indian citizen only.
• The age of the applicant should be between 6 years to 8 years at the time of admission.
• KVS will give preferences to the wards and children of state and Central Government employees, Army personnel etc. 
• The school will allow 25% students under RTI act for each class, 15% seats will be given through the lottery system in KVS, 10% seats are reserved for OBC and 3% seats are reserved for SC ST category students.

Documents for KVS Admission 2025

Parents have to ensure to carry the following documents and the time of applying for KVS Admission 2025 in class 1 through online mode:

• Aadhar Card of students and parents
• Self declaration certificate for distance between school and the residence of the student,
• Service certificate for Central Government or State Government employees
• Transfer certificate of the parents
• Email id and mobile number of the parent
• Birth certificate of the children
• Passport size photograph of the student
• Address proof of the applicant
• Reserved categories certificate such as SC ST/ OBC/ PWD/ EWS/ Government employees etc.

How to Fill KVS Admission 2025 Form Online?

Parents of the students have to follow the following procedure through online mode to submit the KVS application form for KVS Admission 2025 in class 1st:

• Visit to the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and select the class 1 admission link 2025.

• After that you will reach in the new page where you have to click on the registration link and the guidelines for registration with appear on your screen so you have to read all the details and click on the proceeding at the end of the website.

• The KVS Class 1 application form 2025 will appear on your screen for registration where you have to provide person details such as name of the student, date of birth, mobile number and email id and create user id and password.
• Now the complete application form will appear on your screen after login where you have to provide details of the parents, details of the student, employment details of the Guardians, address information, reservation information etc.
• Parents have to select list of the schools under KVS according to the frequency for admission, so the authority will prepare merit list of the successful students accordingly.
• After that upload all the documents in soft copy with 256 KB of PDF or JPG format.

Parents will receive notification on their email id and mobile number after completing the registration, however it is only the registration procedure, but parents have to actively check in the official website of KVS as they have to visit the allotted KVS during the provided deadline and submit photocopy documents to the school to confirm the admission.

Seat Allocations for Class 1 KVS Admission 2025-26

KVS prioritizes central government employees’ kids and army personnel’s kids so they won’t get any problems with admission due to their transfer from one place to another. The KVS provides a lottery system in which students who applied under the RTE Act get selected for admission to KVS schools.

Due to many quotas and reservations, KVS has distributed a certain percent of seats among categories in the following manner:

KVS Admission 2025 Selection Process

The following sequence is accepted for KVS Admission 2025:

• First Lot: 10 seats (out of 40 seats) in KVS Class I per section are to be filled as per RTE Provisions (25% of seats). ) and these 10 seats will be filled by draw of lots from all applications received of SC/ST/EWS/BPL/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) /Differentially abled taken together who are residents of the neighbourhood.
• Second Lot: Lottery for Differently Abled Candidates of SC/ST/OBCNCL/Unreserved is to be conducted as per Priority Category.
• Third Lot: Remaining seats (after deducting RTE and Differently Enabled applicants, if any) will be filled as per the existing Priority Category of Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 in case of Project/IHL KV) only up to the sanctioned strength or until all the registered candidates from Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 in case of Project/IHL KV) is filled.
• Fourth Lot: The total number of SC/ST/OBC-NCL will be counted from the admitted summary of RTE, DA, Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 in case of Project/IHL KV) admissions. done till the third phase. Thereafter, the shortfall in the seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC-NCL, if any, shall be covered by admitting SC/ST/OBC-NCL applicants as per the order of priorities of admission, regardless of the sanctioned strength.
• Fifth Lot: After all these procedures, if the sanctioned strength is not filled and seats are vacant, applicants from Priority Cat-3 (Cat-4 in Project/IHL KV) onwards will be taken up for admission as per the existing priority list for unreserved seats only. The unfilled surplus reserved seats for RTE/SC/ST/OBC (NCL) should be kept vacant.
