PSPCL Technician Recruitment 2024
Punjab State Power Corporation Limited is power providing DISCOM company in the state which is providing electricity facilities in the state. the company is inviting eligible individuals for the post of technician in Mechanical and instrumentation. The notification was released on the portal on 15 March 2024 where they have mentioned that the registration procedure of PSPCL recruitment will start from 27 March 2024 and will held till 16 April 2024.
However, due to Lok Sabha election 2024, the company have postponed the registration procedure of PSPCL. The updated dates of this recruitment drive will be released by the authority soon on the official portal.
PSPCL Technician Recruitment 2024 Eligibility criteria
- All the Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the recruitment of technician in PSPCL.
- Age of the applicant should be between 18 years to 37 years, and it will be calculated from 1 January 2024.
- Applicant should have completed three- or four-year degree in mechanical engineering or Instrumentation engineering according to the post with more than 50% marks.
- Otherwise, application should have completed 10th class and ITI in mechanical engineering or Instrumentation engineering from any recognized institution in India with at least 60% marks.
- The candidate should have studied Punjabi subject as a language till at least 10th class.
- Candidates have to pay 1416 For registration charges and candidates belong to SC category and PWD category have to pay 885 accordingly.

PSPCL Technician Recruitment 2024- Selection procedure
The department will conduct online examination for the recruitment of technician in the department where Total 150 questions will be asked by the department in objective type questions and where 50 question will be based on Punjabi language and understanding in part A and 50 question will be based on the subject of the applicant after that 20 questions of Punjabi language knowledge, 10 question of general awareness, 10 questions of general reasoning and 10 questions of general English will be asked in the examination hall.
Candidates will get Total 3 hours to complete this examination where the part 1 will be only qualifying nature and students have to score at least 40% and 35% for Reserve categories to be eligible for part 2. All the questions will carry one mark for every correct answer and will follow 0.25% negative marking for every incorrect answer, however the negative marking will not be followed in the part a of Punjabi language.
After that candidates will be called for document verification according to their name in the merit list which will be prepared according to the marks in paper 2 of 100 questions.
