Here are some reasons, why riders must-have bike insurance!
- If one has purchased a new bike, an insurance policy must be purchased. The Government of India has made it mandatory for every bike owner to have an insurance policy under the Motor Vehicles Act.
- The policy also includes that if the bike gets damaged due to any natural calamity like flood, earthquake, fire, etc., then you can claim in these situations.
- Most bike owners have limited resources. Having an insurance policy ensures that if an accident occurs or the car is stolen, they will not have to bear the burden of unknown expenses.
- It is wise to take out an insurance policy for the bike by paying a small amount so that if the bike meets with an accident, there is no additional burden on the budget.
