CBSE Schools that have been disaffiliated and downgraded: The Central Board of Secondary Education is taking serious action against CBSE Schools that are not following the guidelines of CBSE. Currently, CBSE has rejected the affiliation of a total of 20 cbse schools across India in different states. CBSE has released an official notification on the official website about discontinuing the affiliation of some CBSE Schools in India that are violating the guidelines of CBSE. Now these CBSE Schools will not further provide educational facilities to their students in upcoming sessions in CBSE.

CBSE is the conductor board examination of the 10th class and 12th class across the country for sessions of 2023 and 2024. The 10th class board examination has been completed and 12th class examinations are currently going on. During the session of the school, CBSE released multiple guidelines to their CBSE Schools which are affiliated with CBSE. CBSE is one of the largest education board in the country which has affiliation with all Central Government school including navoday vidyalay, kendriya vidyalay, Sainik school etc. apart from this other state government schools and private schools are also affiliated with CBSE and provide educational benefits to the students according to the guidelines of CBSE. However, due to non-following the guidelines of CBSE, few CBSE Schools are listed on the board and now their affiliation has been rejected.

So during the secret inspections of the schools, CBSE found that 17 schools in the country were not following the proper guidelines of CBSE. Apart from this three schools are downgraded by CBSE in different states including Delhi, Punjab, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh etc.

Downgrading a school typically refers to a decrease in its overall quality, reputation, or performance indicators. This could include factors such as declining academic standards, reduced funding leading to fewer resources or opportunities for students, deterioration of facilities, or negative changes in the school’s environment or culture.
