CTET 2024 Exam Date [21 JAN, 2024]
CTET is a national examination conducted to test eligibility as a primary (Class 1 to 5) or upper primary (Class 6 to 8) teacher. If the candidate is eligible to teach in central government schools like KVS, NVS, etc., then he/she will have to take this CTET 2024 exam successfully. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the CTET 2024 July Examination date. The CTET 2024 July notification is available on the official website.
The exam will be held on 07 July, 2024. Paper 1 will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and Paper 2 will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:00 pm. Duration of each paper is 2:30 hours.

How to fill out the form for the CTET application form 2024 ?
- Log in to the official website of CTET https://ctet.nic.in/.
- Go to the “Online Application” link and open it.
- Fill out the CTET online application form and note down the registration number/application number.
- Upload the latest scanned photograph and signature.
- Pay the examination fee through Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking. Candidates should note that allotment of the examination city of their choice will come first as per availability only.
- Those candidates who complete the CTET online application process and pay the fee on a first come first served basis will be allotted the selected examination city as per availability.
- The total capacity in a specific city will also be available on the portal.
- If the total capacity of a particular city is reached during the closing of the application process or at the time of payment of the examination fee or updating of the transaction on the CTET portal.
- So, the candidate will be given the option to either select another exam city or cancel the transaction.
- If an applicant cancels the transaction, the full fee will be refunded to his account as per the payment mode and the CTET application will not be considered for this examination.

Examination fees for CTET Exam 2024

Correction in the CTET Application Form 2024

Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the CTET examination
There are two papers/levels of the CTET examination :-
Paper 1 : Education for Classes I-V makes you eligible for the PRT exam. The eligibility to appear for Paper One is D.El.Ed./B.Ed.
Paper 2 : Education for Class VI-VII makes you eligible for the TGT exam. The eligibility criteria to appear for Paper 2 is B.Ed.
