Eligibility Criteria for NSP pre-metric scholarship 2024-25

The eligibility standards for scholarships are determined individually by the respective ministries.

• According to the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the applicant should be from any minority community in India.
• The beneficiary of the scholarship can be any student from class 1 to 10.
• To avail of the scholarship, the student must obtain at least 50% marks in his/her academic session.
• The maximum annual eligible amount for BPL family members should not exceed Rs 1,00,000.
• As per the criteria set by the Ministry of Human Empowerment, students studying in class 9th or 10th will be eligible.
• He must have at least 40% disability and must have a certificate of the same.
• The annual income of the family of such a student should not exceed Rs 250000.
• For children of Beedi, IOMC, Cine, or LSDM workers, the Ministry of Labor and Employment has listed the eligibility grounds.
• The student’s parents must have worked for at least six months. The student should be registered in any class from class 1 to 10 and the monthly income of the family should not be more than Rs 10 thousand.

NSP Pre-metric Scholarship Amount

The NSP scholarship amount varies depending on the background, class, and ministry the student is eligible to receive the scholarship. Students from classes 6 to 10 will get ₹500 per year as an admission fee. Along with this, they will also get a grant fee of ₹ 350 per month.
