• The applicants who have completed 3 years of graduation/ 6 semester-based graduation with 2 years for 4th semester-based master’s degree. Or students should have completed 2 years (4 semester) graduation with 1 year (2 semester based) master’s degree from any recognized board.
• The applicant should have achieved more than 55% marks however students belonging to reserve categories Including OBC, EWS, SC ST and PWD candidates will get 5% relaxation on the marks. 

BSc Nursing eligibility criteria

• Only in-service ( already working) nurses can apply for the BSC nurse course in IGNOU.
• The nurse should be registered under Registered nurse and registered midwife- RNRM .
• Should have a diploma in General nursing and midwifery- GNM (Male candidates who have not done GNM course can complete any nursing course duration of 6 to 9 months from any recognized Institution.
• If you are 10th pass then you should have at least 5 years experience or if you are 12th pass then you should have at least 2 years experience in the nursing field.

B.Ed eligibility criteria 

• Only trained in-service primary teachers Can apply for open B.Ed in IGNOU.
• Should have completed 2 years diploma in elementary education from any recognized institution with NCTE by face-to-face mode.
• Should have completed the graduation or the master’s degree from any recognized Institution with at least 55% marks. However, reserve categories will get 5% reservation in the marks accordingly.

Apply Online for IGNOU Admission 2025-26 for B.Ed, PhD & B.Sc Nursing

The application procedure for registration in the IGNOU entrance examination for B.Ed, PhD, and B.Sc nursing had to be done before 31 December 2023 by following this procedure :-

• First of all visit to the official website of IGNOU by clicking on this link: http://www.ignou.ac.in/ 

• After that, you had to click on the link on the advertisement for admission announcement for PhD July 2024, B.Ed, and BSc nursing entrance for January, 2025. 
• After that, you had been redirected to a new page where you have to select any link to apply for the registration according to the course.

• Now you had to click on the new registration on the registration page.

• After that, you will reach the registration page where you had to enter your name according to the 10th class mark sheet, date of birth, email, and mobile number, and create a password for login.
• After that, you will receive OTP for verification on your registered mobile number and email ID.
• Once you had verified all the information the application form will appear on your screen where you have to enter your details, contact details, employment information, Education information, etc
• Now upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature and click on the submit link
• You have to pay Rs 1000 online fees for the registration
