ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 : The Indian space research organization ISRO is conducting the ISRO Robotics Challenge, USRC 2024. All the eligible individuals are invited by ISRO to participate in this ISRO Robotics Challenge program and prepare a robotic challenge model according to the guidelines of ISRO.
The robotic challenge program in ISRO is conducted by UR Rao Satellite Centre – URSC each year. If you are also a student or a youth who is interested in robotics including preparing a rover then you can participate in this ISRO robotic challenge by USRC.
We are providing the formation of ISRO Robotics Challenge eligibility criteria, objectives of ISRO Robotic Challenge 2024, important dates, and challenges.
About ISRO
It operates as the primary research and development arm of the Department of Space (DOS), which is directly supervised by the Prime Minister of India, while the Chairman of ISRO also acts as the executive of DOS. ISRO is primarily responsible for performing tasks related to space-based operations, space exploration, international space collaboration, and the development of related technologies. ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 is one of the six government space agencies in the world that possesses full launch abilities, can deploy cryogenic engines, can launch extraterrestrial missions, and operate a large fleet of artificial satellites. ISRO is one of the four government space agencies to have soft landing (Uncrewed) abilities.
ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 was formerly known as the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR), set up under Jawaharlal Nehru on the suggestions of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai recognized the need for space research in 1962. INCOSPAR grew and became ISRO in 1969, within the Division of Atomic Energy (DAE). In 1972, the government of India set up a Space Commission and the DOS, bringing Isro under it. The founding of ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 thus institutionalized space research activities in India. It has since been managed by DOS, which also governed various other institutions in India in the domain of astronomy and space technology.
ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024
ISRO is continuously doing great in the research center and attracting the world by providing and inventing sustainable techniques in space and the research center. Recently ISRO successfully landed ChandraYaan 3 and the rover on the south pole of the moon smoothly.
URSC is inviting individuals and teams of youth to participate in the ISRO robotic challenge 2024 and has announced the challenge on the official. Individuals or teams of youth who are interested in participating in the ISRO robotic challenge can apply.
ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 By seeing the success on the North pole of the moon and success in space missions, ISRO has challenged youths in India to prepare a satellite rover in the challenge of 2024. ISRO is inviting applicants with a slogan of Let’s build a space robot.
ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024
Interested individuals have to register themselves on the ISRO Portal. During the time of ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 registration, you also have to submit your proposal of the model. ISRO will release a list of the selected teams who will participate in this challenge. These selected teams can submit design reports.
After the submission of the design report teams will get feedback and they have to demonstrate the demo of the prototype. ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 will release the list of the selected teams in this demonstration and after that, they have to work on their particular tasks in upcoming dates. ISRO Robotics Day will be conducted between 5 and 6th August 2024 and teams will get an award on National Space Day on 24 August, 2024.

Primary Objective of ISRO robotics challenge 2024
As we all know the Indian Space Research Organization has successfully completed the Chandrayaan mission, which is a highly complicated mission. There are various quizzes, competitions, and internship programs launched by ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024
The main objective of starting the ISRO Robotics challenge 2024 registration, to provide a standardized platform for exploring the area of space robotics double per depends on the standing of space robotics and its applications among the student community.
And this will enhance their communication, collaboration, inquiry and problem solving and flexibility skills. As a consequence, these skills are helpful to benefit them in their academic and professional progress. There is another objective of this mission to co-develop (students and ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024) future technology needed in the area of space robotics. This will also help space agencies to identify formalization and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of mathematics, science, and engineering.
