SSC JE Recruitment 2024: The staff selection commission has released the recruitment notification of SSC JE Recruitment 2024 for a total of 966 posts. SSC JE Recruitment Eligibility 2024
- Staff selection Commission is inviting all the eligible students who wish to get government job in Central Government as junior engineer across the country.
- There is no minimum age criteria but the maximum age should not be more than 30 years old which will be calculated from 1 August 2024. However reserve categories such as SC ST, OBC and PWD will get age relaxation of 3 years to 10 years accordingly.
- The applicant should have completed BTech degree or diploma in engineering in different streams such as civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering according to the post.
- The authority will charge hundred rupees online application fees from the eligible candidates, however SC ST, PWD and womens from all categories are exempted to pay the application fees.

The application procedure of SSC JE Recruitment 2024
If you are eligible and want to apply for junior engineer recruitment in SSC 2024 then you have to follow the following procedure through online mode before the last date of 18 April 2024:
- Go to the new official website of SSC by clicking on this link https://ssc.gov.in/
- Now you will reach on the dashboard where you can see the notification of SSC JE recruitment 2024 in the notice board and can directly apply online under the quick links section
- After that the login details will appear on your screen where you have to enter the user id and password or can create it through the registration portal.
- Now the application form will appear on your screen where your pre field information will automatically available including your name, address information, category etc
- You have to provide your educational details in this application form and select educational cities preferences according to your nearest location.
- After that you have to upload your passport size photograph and signature so you will reach on the payment portal

Selection procedure of SSC JE 2024
Staff Selection Commission will conduct a computer-based examination of the candidates who have successfully submitted the SSC JE recruitment application form. There will be two papers where candidates have to first appear and qualify in paper one and after getting selected in paper 1 they will be called for paper 2. Each examination will be conducted in multiple answer type questions where candidates will get one mark for every correct answer in paper 1 and 1/3 marks will also be detected for every incorrect answer.
Candidates will get 2 hours to complete each paper where paper one will carry 50 questions of general intelligence and reasoning, 50 questions of general awareness, and 100 questions of subject-specific engineering course. If you get good marks then you will be called for paper two where a total hundred questions of subject-specific will be asked and candidates will get 3 marks for every correct answer. After that the boat will prepare the final merit list of the candidates according to their marks in paper 1 and paper 2 and the meritorious candidates will be called for document verification and an appointment letter from the department.
