• A candidate who scores well in this preliminary examination will proceed to the next round of the recruitment which is the mains examination. The total number of questions in this preliminary examination will be 100 having the total marks of 200. The preliminary examination will have four subjects in which questions will be completed within 60 minutes. The 0.25 mark will be deducted by the ESIC for each wrong answer question. The result of the preliminary investigation will be released on ESIC official website. All the students who appeared in this preliminary exam can visit the site to check out their result of the preliminary exam.
• Mains Exam : All the qualified candidates of this preliminary examination will take part in this mains examination. This mains examination is the second round of this recruitment. The total number of questions in this name exam will be 200 having the maximum marks of 200. All the students have to complete this mains exam question paper within 120 minutes or 2 hours. All the questions in this mains examination will be multiple choice objective type. A merit list will be made by the board with the name of the candidate who passed this mains examination. The merit list will have the name of the candidates who will be called for the document validation. The ESIC will release the merit list on its official website.
• Document Verification : All the students who passed the name examination will be called for the document validation round. All the applicants have to bring their original document at the time of validation. Some positions under ESIC will follow the skill test round to complete the selection process
